2010/08/09: Emily & Philip

Emily and Philip met during Philip’s residency at Duke. Philip was on a Psych Rotation, and Emily was paged to help out. A few pages and dates later, they became a couple. Very sweet. 2 years later…

Philip flew home to see his parents in Wisconsin. He gave Emily little hints such as poems and telegrams at work. Yes, an official telegram! I love the fact that the four of us are at very important and different points in our lives: Elizabeth is about to get her driver’s license, Olivia just graduated from nursing school, Lauren is finishing grad school and in love with a boy (I approve), and I will be turning the big 3-0 this November.

It is such a treat to be able to photograph people that are so close and dear to your heart. Read More »»
