Baby Hudson is here!

Hudson decided to make his debut into the world on New Year’s Eve, and Livi and Jeremy have been celebrating ever since.

Just wanted to wish everyone a very Happy New Year!

I’m working on updating my wedding galleries (long overdue), and came across one of my favorites from this season! Kirsten and Murat were married at The Cotton Room, located in Durham, North Carolina. What a gorgeous gorgeous place to hold a wedding and reception!

I traveled to Winston Salem a few weekends ago to photograph Maley and visit with Martha, a dear friend from my college days at Peace College. Martha shared that her name is a combination of 2 maiden names in her family. I think the name fits perfectly.

I’ve known Livi for a little over 3 years now. I was there to photograph her rehearsal dinner and help shoot her wedding at the Carolina Inn. Man, was she a gorgeous gorgeous bride! We have stayed in touch over the years, and she has been rooting for me and sending her friends my way as I have taken this incredible journey of going out on my own in the photography world. I think it is safe  to say that she is a client turned friend.

I was absolutely thrilled when she let me know that she was expecting, she told me as soon as she could, and then let me know weeks later that she and Jeremy were expecting a baby BOY.  They are *very* proud to be having a boy. I couldn’t be happier.
